I'm a Bay Area pastor with a bit of farming in my blood. Several years ago I thought it would be fun to keep one bee hive in my garden. It's a classic beekeeper origin story. One hive became four, four became eight, and so on, and the honeybees became "One Hobby To Rule Them All"! This learning journey has inspired wonder in me as I've been drawn into closer connection to our Earth's flora, fauna, and seasons.
I attempt to follow natural, sustainable practices with the quality of the honey and the benefit of the bees in mind. It is a privelege to steward life; to know I'm adding my work to the bees' to bring something special into the world.
